We're proud to announce that SFM Ponies will have a new group that is dedicated to teach and share knowledge about the usage SFM and other 3D software. This group will have tutorials dedicated to creating Ponies in softwares like Source Filmmaker, Blender, Photoshop and others! We will also critique artworks submitted to our group. We believe in order to achieve the best learning experience, we must help others by critiquing their work, as well as creating tutorials that they can be used to enhance their learning experience, as well as for references.

We believe that knowledge must and should be shared with everyone, because knowledge is what makes us better in our capabilities and skills.

 

We believe if we create tutorials, and show common mistakes that people usually do in their artworks, it might help a lot of people in getting better at Source Filmmaker, and possibly learn a lot more about other softwares that can enhance their knowledge even further.








We will also have type of tutorial/lesson method of critique, but this is for special occasions where we will pick an image and heavily analyzes it and show what could be better about it. An example of this is as follows:







We aren’t striving to be perfect, we’re striving to get better, learn more about the tools we love, and to share what we’ve learned with everyone who wants to know.

This group also isn’t just a showcase of the best of the best artworks. This group is a showcase of good artworks with great tutorials available for us 3D animators and modelers.

Maybe you didn’t realize it, but there isn’t a group out there dedicated to specifically teach or discuss these softwares (Blender, Source Filmmaker, 3D Maya, 3D Coat, etc.) related ponies on DeviantArt.

So, in conclusion, our objective is to make people better at what they love to do. We will try our best to help you all, and we hope everyone will learn new things about the world of 3D pony animation.
